Evaluative research of Trentino decentralised cooperation (between communities)
An important research has been realised by TCIC – Training Centre for International Cooperation – concerning the analysis of Trentino decentralised cooperation.
In particular, this evaluation research focuses on the cooperation between Trentino and other communities such as Prijedor (Bosnia Erzegovina), Peja-Pec (Kossovo), Caia (Mozambico) and Kraljevo (Serbia).
These experiences, called “Trentino With”, supported significantly by the Autonomous Province of Trento, are considered a “policy” of decentralised cooperation characterised by a high level of creativity and experimentation, bringing innovation in the context of international solidarity and Italian decentralised cooperation, but also providing a heritage of practices on which to reflect and to learn useful lessons from, on a Trentino, national and international level.
Also Antonella Valmorbida, director of ALDA – Association of Local Democracy Agencies – collaborated in order to realise this research, supporting analysis of the cooperation with Balkan areas, and of the experiences of the Local Democracy Agencies in Prijedor and Kossovo.
