Liudmyla Yatsiv joined ALDA in June 2026 as Project Manager for Ukraine. She brings over ten years of experience in project coordination, community engagement, local governance, and dialogue facilitation, gained through her work with international organisations in Ukraine.
Before joining ALDA, Liudmyla worked with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), coordinating community resilience and social inclusion initiatives supporting internally displaced persons and host communities. Previously, she spent more than eight years with the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, where she supported dialogue processes, monitored governance and decentralisation developments, and facilitated cooperation between local authorities, civil society, and international stakeholders.
Liudmyla holds a Master’s degree in Philology from Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University and has further specialised in dialogue facilitation, mediation, human rights, social cohesion, and community engagement through international training programmes.
At ALDA, she contributes to projects promoting local democracy, citizen participation, and cooperation between local authorities and civil society, supporting Ukraine’s democratic development, resilience, and recovery.
