sui Fondi Strutturali per imprese & innovazione!
Cos’è il POR FESR?
Il Programma Operativo Regionale, detto sinteticamente POR, è lo strumento attraverso cui la Regione del Veneto, grazie ai circa 600 milioni di euro messi a disposizione dall’Unione Europea, dallo Stato e dalla Regione stessa, svilupperà dal 2014 al 2020 un piano di crescita sociale ed economica che interesserà la ricerca e l’innovazione, l’agenda digitale, le politiche industriali, energetiche e di tutela ambientale.
Perché partecipare?
Il corso è particolarmente dedicato a professionisti attivi nei diversi settori della piccola e media impresa (turismo, manifattura, ambiente, ICT e nuove tecnologie, ecc.) e a coloro che hanno intenzione di aprire una nuova impresa (start-up). Attraverso lezioni frontali ed esercizi pratici, aiuterà a capire quali sono le opportunità specifiche che il programma offre alla propria realtà lavorativa.
Dove?
Il corso si terrà negli uffici di ALDA a Vicenza, Viale Milano 66.
Quando?
Il corso si terrà in 3 giornate: 18, 25 gennaio e 1 febbraio. Le lezioni si terranno dalle ore 9.30-13.30 il mattino e dalle ore 14.30-18.00 il pomeriggio.

Il corso è strutturato in 3 moduli. Ogni giornata sarà focalizzata su uno di essi.

Young North Macedonians explored the First World War: reconciliation and conflict prevention process in Bitola, in November 2016.
"Elect Mostar": citizenship in action for a more participative electoral system!
Young people from Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, expressed their discontentment on the situation of the City of Mostar in the light of the fact that the local elections have not been held in the past 8 years.

The intention of Mostar youth, gathered around this initiative was clear:
“We want to stop the agony and send a clear message:
we have the right to elect and be elected,
we have the right to a functional government,
we have a right to our city“.
With this action, the young people have shown that they are not passive and they want to express their opinion and attitude, and ultimately affect change.
On the day of local elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 2 October 2016, an activity named “Elect Mostar” was held in the City of Mostar. Citizens of Mostar had the opportunity to “vote” in three city locations and by casting their “ballots” with the answers to the questions.
The activity “Elect Mostar” was organized by a group of associations of citizens active in Mostar city area and dealing with youth issues. Among them, the Local Democracy Agency Mostar, the Youth Council of the City of Mostar, the Youth Cultural Centre “Abrašević”, and the Association of Young Psychologists. The results of the campaign have shown that citizens are very dissatisfied with current state of the city of Mostar. The vast majority (89.35%) indicated that they would come out to the elections and vote, and even 95% of them believe that their human rights are threatened by the fact that the local elections have not been held. Nevertheless, 75% of respondents said that they still want to continue living in their city.
These results, as well as the positive reaction and public interest on this initiative were the impetus to young people from the Associations of Citizens to continue with this activity. Two new organizations joined the Group of non-governmental organizations who participated in this activity: Elsa Mostar and Youth Power. A Facebook page has also been created. It has been decided that each 2nd day of the month a new activity “Elect Mostar” will be organized addressing new questions, new answers and new suggestions from young citizens of Mostar. These activities are implemented within the Youth taking over day action, leaded by Local democracy Agency Mostar, as a part of the project “Balkan regional platform for youth participation and dialogue”, financed by EU.
Within the activity “Elect Mostar” organized on 2 November 2016, young people answered the question: “Do you see yourself in Mostar in ten years from now?” (with indication on the age and qualifications). They were able to answer on the question via online questionnaire published on 25 October 2016 on the official Facebook page, or filling out the printed questionnaire during the activity carried out from group of volunteers at the University Dzemal Bijedic and University of Mostar.
The questionnaire was completed by a total of 503 people, 43.9% of whom want to leave Mostar. The main fact is that 82.3% of respondents belong to the age limit from 15 to 35 years, and even 42.7% are young people with higher education and 39.40% with secondary education.
The initiative “Elect Mostar” came exclusively from young citizens of Mostar without any political and party influence, who want their voice and message to be heard and took into account. Therefore, this message should be sent to all those who are responsible for this situation in Mostar and which may affect its decision: The City Election Committee, The Central Election Committee, The City of Mostar, The Government of Herzegovina Neretva Canton, the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina Federation, the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Federation, the Office of the High Representative, The Office of the Ombudsman, OSCE, the Delegation of the European Union, the Council of Europe, The Congress of Local and Regional Governments of the Council of Europe, the Peace Implementation Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The European Association for Local Democracy is expanding its network in Ukraine
Since the first LDA was opened in Dnipro in 2015, we are working hard to mark one more point on our map in Odessa city. The 3 days in Odessa, from 3 to 5 November, were full of activities and interesting work.

On 3 November the partners’ meeting of the Local Democracy Agency Odessa was organized. The meeting was hosted by the Odessa Municipality. The aim of the meeting was to present and discuss the initial steps and documents for establishing the new agency. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the City of Gdansk (committed international partner of the future LDA and local partner), by the Association for community self-organization Assistance, as well as by the representatives of the International Renaissance foundation, National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia. The Secretary General of ALDA – Antonella Valmorbida presented the concept of the LDA and ALDA’s activities run in Eastern Partnership and in Ukraine. Mr. Dmytro Radulov – Head of Department of Economic Development of Odessa City Council – expressed gratitude to the idea of fostering local democracy, and was actively engaged in the discussion about mission and priorities of the future organization. The process is progressing and our wish is to establish a consolidated network in Ukraine by the end of 2017.
ALDA was invited to take part to the XI international conference on community self-organization: title of the event was “Self-organization as the way to the development of reformed local communities”. The conference was opened with the working meeting of the EaP Path of ALDA’s LADDER project. The aim of the meeting was to inform participants and discuss together with them about the European Programmes and new initiatives for Local Authorities in the Eastern Partnership countries. Three programs were presented:
- “Mayors for Economic Growth”
- “Covenant of Mayors”
- Initiative “Public administration Reform”
David Melua – Executive Director of the National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia and co-applicant within the LADDER project, together with the Secretary General of ALDA, introduced the content of the programmes and the concrete opportunities for Mayors in the EaP. The presentations were followed by a participative discussion. All participants actively expressed their views about the programmes.
ALDA had an important place within the panel, presenting its international experience in the field of civic participation. Nino Tvaltvadze – Eastern Partnership Coordinator and project manager of ALDA – presented the results of the survey “Development of active citizenship as a way to strengthen local democracy in the Eastern Partnership countries”, which was conducted to compliment to the CORLEAP report. David Melua presented the Georgian experience, while Dimitry Sokol – representative of Lev Sapieha Foundation – brought the Belarussian experience.
As conclusion to the three interesting days full of work, some concrete plans were drafted, making new contacts and gaining faith once again that ALDA needs to be in Ukraine! Meanwhile, the activities of the Local Democracy Agency of the Dnipropetrovsk Region successfully continue. The LDA is also benefitting of the support of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), funding its project “Participatory Democracy Development in Territorial Communities”.
