As a part of Youth Taking Over Day activity within the project Balkan Regional Platform for Participation and Dialogue, Local Democracy Agency Mostar (LDA Mostar) together with partner organisations Youth Council of the City of Mostar (VMGM) and the Youth Cultural Center Abrašević (OKC Abrašević) will organize a public forum under a symbolic title “Five to Twelve”. The intention of the forum is to gather young people from the City of Mostar with candidates for the 2018 General Elections who also fall into the category of young people (up to 30 years of age). The public forum will be held on September 18, 2018, at 11:55 am in the premises of OKC Abrašević in Mostar.

The aim of this public forum is to give young people Mostar a chance to engage in a constructive dialogue with representatives of the political parties as well as to have the opportunity to ask questions on concerns which affect the local community. The public forum is developed in such a way that every representative of a political party has enough time to present his/her political plan, present his/her motives and work program of his/her political party which is aimed at improving the position of young people in the City of Mostar.
The main reason for organizing this public forum is the fact that the City Council of the City of Mostar has not formally been in existence since 2012. Moreover, local elections in the City have also not been held for 10 years. Accordingly, generation of young people of this City never had the opportunity to vote or to be elected. LDA Mostar, VMGM and OKC Abrašević will put an emphasis on young people and give them the opportunity to express their opinions and attitudes freely, democratically and arguably in the spirit of dialogue culture.
All interested in participating in the public forum can apply till August 31, 2018.

Open Call for participation in a public forum will be published via the following websites:  LDAmostar , Vijeće Mladih Grada Mostara, OkcAbrasevic as well as on the Facebook pages of the organizer.
All interested can register via the Online form (available in Serbian)
