WISE Project – While Innovating and Strengthening Europe – has been launched last March in Rome, with an international event, gathering together over 50 peoples by the local context and the international partners. In contrast with the general raise of Euroscepticism in the Union, WISE project focuses on promoting democratic engagement and active participation in policy-making processes, from the local to a broader level. This kick-off meeting represented the occasion to discuss about the hot topics of the European Union nowadays, and to exchange opinions on the local process to be implemented in each one of the 16 countries.
In the last months, all the partners started to implemented the first phase of the Local Processes: EU LEARN! The current stage aspires to approach young people and to set a joint discussion about the history of Europe, its major achievements, and what still needs to be implemented.
Understanding where we come from for better visualizing where we want go to!
Counting more than 400 young people involved, the WISE Project wants to bring the reflection on the history of Europe on the table, through innovative and non-conventional approaches, in order to develop a fruitful reflection and then develop all together participative solutions for the Europe we want!
