Apolline Bonfils is in charge of ALDA projects implemented in the Mediterranean region.She holds a Master's degree in Law of States Rebuilding in Post-Conflict Environments and is interested in constitutional developments, particularly in the MENA region. She has previously worked with various non-governmental organisations in Tunisia and Lebanon, and carried out substantial research on constitutional writing, decentralisation and transitional justice.
Within ALDA, Apolline is part of the MEA (Middle East and Africa) project management department, and has a strong interest in project monitoring and evaluation. Sheis also in charge of ensuring ALDA's commitment to French and international networks in the Euro-Mediterranean region. Furthermore, at the local level, she is in charge of ALDA's French office, based in Strasbourg, which gives her a strategic position to support cities and citizens in participatory development practices. In particular, she participates with the city of Strasbourg in the development of more inclusive processes for citizens.
Beyond these functions, Apolline is very involved in issues related to the electoral administration, and frequently participates in election observation missions.
