The COSM Consortium manages socio-medical, educational and rehabilitation activities, provides services and follows projects that enable the employment of disadvantaged people.
It develops training and design activities and is involved in many development cooperation projects in different countries of the world.
Founded in 1993 to support the de-institutionalisation process of the Psychiatric Hospital of Udine, starting from the cultural and political movement initiated by Franco Basaglia, it now associates 17 social cooperatives representing the most significant social cooperation experiences in the Region.
