Objectif: Le appel à propositions will fund different organizations developing their own projects at the local level, widening public knowledge, awareness and interest about the EU key policies and strategies. In particular the thematic focus of the regranted actions should have a clear link to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and/or the European Green Deal.

The regranted initiatives are expected to capitalize their results thanks to their close connection to ALDA key activities et ALDA Thematic Hubs:

• Environnement et climat,
• Engagement communautaire,
•  Inclusion du genre et droits de l'homme,
• Jeunesse,
• Migration.

Appel 1

Titre: Support to Women Economic Empowerment in the Southern Neighbourhood Developing tools and skills for women’s access to finance
Deadline of the call: 17.04.2023
Emplacement: EU Member States and Southern Neighbourhood partner countries (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia).

Objectif: The global objective of this restricted call for proposalsis to support the economic empowerment of women in the Southern Neighbourhood. The specific objective is to enhance women’s financial inclusion and access to finance through the development of innovative products and skills.

Titre: Support to Civil Society in Albania- Civil Society and Media 2022 and HR&D 2022
Deadline of the call: 18.04.2023
Emplacement: Albanie

Objectif: The global objective of this restricted call for proposals is to strengthen the role and capacities of civil society to promote and defend a just and democratic society.

This call for proposals is divided in four lots

1. Gender and Rights of LGBTIQ+ persons
2. Human rights and access to justice
3. Freedom of expression and media
4. Political pluralism and democratic processes

Title: Thematic Programme on Human Rights and Democracy 2022-2023
Deadline of the call: 25.04.2023
Emplacement: Bosnie Herzégovine

Objectif: The global objective of this restricted call for proposals is promotion and protection of: (i) human rights and fundamental freedoms; (ii) democracy; and (iii) the rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

The specific objectives are: 

• Specific objective 1: To protect human rights and fight discrimination (Lot 1)
• Specific objective 2: To protect and promote human rights and democracy by supporting the new technologies and engaging with the business sector (Lot 2)
• Specific objective 3: To support accountable institutions, engaged citizens and supporting a safe and enabling environment for civil society and independent media (Lot 3)

Appel 4

Title: Virtual Exchanges in Higher Education and Youth – ERASMUS+
Deadline of the call: 26.04.2023
Emplacement: EU Member States and list of eligible countries of the E+ Programme

Objectif: This open call aims to:

• Encourage intercultural dialogue with third countries not associated to the Programme and increase tolerance through online people-to-people interactions, building on digital, youth-friendly technologies;
• Promote various types of virtual exchanges as a complement to Erasmus+ physical mobility, allowing more young people to benefit from intercultural and international experience;
• Enhance critical thinking and media literacy, particularly in the use of internet and social media, such as to counter discrimination, indoctrination, polarization and violent radicalisation;
• Foster the digital and soft skills (i.e. Soft skills include the ability to think critically, be curious and creative, to take initiative, to solve problems and work collaboratively, to be able to communicate efficiently in a multicultural and interdisciplinary environment, to be able to adapt to context and to cope with stress and uncertainty. 
• Promote citizenship and the common values of freedom, tolerance and non-discrimination through education;
• Strengthen the youth dimension in the relations of the EU with third countries.

Objectif: The global objective of this restricted call for proposals is to enhance the role of Civil Society in providing external scrutiny of Somali public finances and demanding greater transparency and accountability from governmental authorities.

The specific objective(s) of this call for proposals are to increase opportunities for Somali citizens’ scrutiny of fiscal and financial affairs of public interest.

Title: Appui au monde associatif en Côte d’Ivoire AMA-CI

Objectif: The general objective of this restricted call for proposals is to contribute to the entrenchment of democracy and the culture of dialogue and peace in Côte d’Ivoire. This will be achieved through the effective participation of CSOs and, through them, citizens, in the process of the political, economic, social and cultural life of the country.

The specific objective of this call for proposals is to strengthen the role of CSOs as actors of good governance.

Title: Support for Civil Society in the Republic of Moldova
Deadline of the call: 05.05.2023
Emplacement: Republic of Moldova

Objectif: The global objective of this restricted call for proposals is to strengthen CSOs’ capacity in the process of implementation of the Association Agreement, including at local level. 

The specific objectives of this call for proposals are: 

• Lot 1: support a fair energy transition and increased access to renewable energy for social buildings (e.g. social centers for vulnerable children/ elderly, centers providing social services) 
• Lot 2: support implementing rights-based consumer protection through advocacy activities.
• Lot 3: support improved access to water, sanitation and hygiene facilities in schools.

Call 9

Title: Creative Europe – NEWS: Journalism partnerships – Pluralism
Deadline of the call: 27.04.2023
Emplacement: EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs)) and non-EU countries (listed EEA countries and countries associated to the Creative Europe Programme)

Objectif: This open call will support civil society organisations active in media, and help them in setting up supporting schemes for news media organisations and independent journalism, as well as other capacity-building measures. These actions, including third party support, will target media active in sectors of special relevance to democracy and civic participation, such as local and regional media, community media, independent and investigative journalism and other organisations delivering public interest news.
