Solidarity, common vision, and responsibility should guide the EU common approach to migration

Statement of ALDA about the migration policy of the EU and the quotas of immigrants

« The European Association for Local Democracy (ALDA) invites national and local governments, as well as all European institutions to reaffirm solidarity and a shared responsibility towards immigrants and refugees.

The topic of immigrants and shared quotas, should not divide EU Member States but should be discussed together in order to put in place a common EU migration policy.
