LDA Ovruch
Description
The Local Democracy Agency (LDA) Ovruch was established in 2025 as the sixth LDA in Ukraine, through the partnership of the city of Ovruch, Saint-Brieuc Armor Agglomération (France), and ALDA. Located in a vibrant border community, Ovruch is known for its active civic life and strong engagement of young people, notably through its dynamic municipal youth centre. The new LDA will represent a platform for promoting local democracy, citizen participation, and cooperation with European partners. While it is still in its early stages, the Agency is envisioned as a space for dialogue, exchange, and community-driven initiatives. It draws inspiration from the vitality and resilience of the local population. The creation of LDA Ovruch reflects a shared vision of fostering inclusive governance and strengthening local capacities through international solidarity.
