Yasmine Falfoul is a Tunisian young professional with extensive experience in international cooperation and development. She has successfully contributed to multiple Donor-funded projects implemented by reputable organizations such as Deloitte and Chemonics. Yasmine’s expertise lies in developing and implementing Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) plans, data analysis, communication strategies, and impactful storytelling. Her notable project involvements include the USAID-funded TADAEEM and Tunisia JOBS initiatives, as well as the EU-funded AUTREMENT project.

Complementing her professional experience, Yasmine holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Studies with valedictorian honours. She pursued a two-year Master’s program in Translation and Interpreting from the Higher Institute of Social Sciences of Tunis. Furthermore, she completed an advanced Master’s degree in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the prestigious College of Europe, focusing on the EU’s role as a global actor and gender equality promoter in the ENP countries. Under the guidance of esteemed scholar Prof. Tobias Schumacher, her thesis explored the EU’s efforts in advancing gender equality in Tunisia after the Arab Spring.

Since September 2022, Yasmine has assumed the role of Communication and Local Democracy Officer within the MEA Department of ALDA.
