The right to quality education: 3 free web conferences promoted by ALDA & Reggio Children

Friday, July 17th 2020 sets the starting date of a new series of free web conferences promoted by ALDA together with Reggio Children, the international centre for the defence and promotion of children’s rights and potential created to promote and safeguard the experience of Reggio Emilia’s Municipal Infant-Toddler Centres and Preschools, known in Italy and throughout the world as the Reggio Emilia Approach.

THE RIGHT TO QUALITY EDUCATION
Considering the challenges launched by contemporaneity to education as an opportunity

In this second half of July, the following three appointments will bring to an online stage a variety of expert contributions to a European conversation on children’s right to quality education, in order to transform challenges into collective opportunities:

• Friday, July 17th, from 11am to 1pm Rome Time: supporting parents & families as a way to combat poverty and inequality
• Monday, July 20th July, from 11am to 1pm Rome Time: distance learning and the role of technologies in the learning processes
• Wednesday, July 29th July, from 11am to 1pm Rome Time: the pedagogy of relations – socializing and shaping communities

In particular, we are happy to announce that ALDA Secretary General Antonella Valmorbida will be moderating the third event, while ALDA Governing Board member Imisława Bugeja will participate as one of the expert panelists, bringing forth the experience of the Gen. Ryszard Kukliński International School of Bydgoszcz (Poland) where she is Head Teacher.

Venerdì 17 luglio partono le web conference gratuite promosse da ALDA insieme a Reggio Children, il centro internazionale per la difesa e la promozione dei diritti e delle potenzialità dei bambini e delle bambine, nato per valorizzare e rafforzare l’esperienza delle scuole e dei nidi d’infanzia comunali di Reggio Emilia, conosciuta in Italia e nel mondo come Reggio Emilia Approach.

In questa seconda metà di luglio, i seguenti tre appuntamenti porteranno su un palcoscenico virtuale una varietà di contributi esperti per una conversazione europea sul diritto all’educazione di qualità, per trasformare insieme le sfide in opportunità.

• Venerdì 17 luglio, ore 11-13: il dialogo con genitori e famiglie come strategia per combattere le povertà e le disuguaglianze
• Lunedì 20 luglio, ore 11-13: didattica a distanza e il ruolo delle tecnologie nei processi di apprendimento
• Mercoledì 29 luglio, ore 11-13: la socialità nel contesto educativo.

In particolare, siamo felici di annunciare che la Segretario Generale di ALDA Antonella Valmorbida modererà il terzo evento, mentre Imisława Bugeja, Membro del Consiglio Direttivo di ALDA, vi parteciperà come relatrice esperta, portando l’esperienza della Gen. Ryszard Kukliński International School di Bydgoszcz (Polonia) della quale è Preside.
