The Director of ALDA, Mrs Antonella Valmorbida, will attend the 4th edition of the Black Sea NGO Forum, on 6-8 October, 2011 in Bucharest, Romania.
ALDA was invited by The Romanian Federation of Development NGOs (FOND), that is organising the Forum.
Mrs Antonella Valmorbida will take the floor as speakers on the 6th October, at 14.00 – 15.30 during the session titled »The European Neighborhood Policy, its Eastern dimension and regional cooperation at the Black Sea. What impact does civil society have in the programming process? ».
The Black Sea NGO Forum was launched in 2008 by the Romanian Federation of Development NGOs (FOND) and its partners throughout the region, and it has been supported by the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Representation of the European Commission and the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation.
Recent developments in the EU neighbourhood have revealed once more the essential role of civil society and its potential as a positive force for change.
The 4th edition of the Black Sea NGO Forum will explore the role and needs of civil society in the region, its vision(s) and solutions to the current local and regional problems.
