Dorothee Fischer is a communications and international affairs expert with more than 15 years of experience and based in Valencia, Spain. She regularly collaborates with European institutions and programmes, NGOs, universities and private companies world-wide. Before becoming self-employed in April 2014, she worked as Communication and Project Development Officer for the European programmes INTERREG IIIC and INTERACT, giving technical assistance and trainings to European Territorial Cooperation and Interreg programmes. Between 2003 and 2008, she was running the Strasbourg office of ALDA, in charge of press relations and managing a variety of international human rights and development projects in South East Europe and the Southern Caucasus. She has been an individual member of ALDA eversince and was appointed ALDA ambassador for Spain in 2018.
