On May 6th, ALDA had the opportunity to discuss climate change, as well as the role of young people within this issue and what the community is doing with the project Climate of Change, to improve the situation we are living in.

The first week of May 2022 was the chance for EPIC partners to meet again, share their experience and their progresses on the project and participate in a side event on the Russian war to Ukraine.

Focusing on several transdisciplinary issues, be they environment or social justice; TNOC animated 3 days of Festival all over the world with countless events. Benefiting from the expertise of the Association, and the achievements reached through its projects, ALDA actively participated to TNOC with four different initiatives, namely: “Life BEWARE”, “Life FALKON”, “CAP-PERI” and “Climate of Change”.

On 7- 8 March 2022, Plœuc-L’Hermitage (France) hosted the European Seminary of LEADER France. The latter, created in 1991, has to be understood within the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), and specifically as a support for the transformation and diversification of rural areas.

The BRIGHT Project is coming to an end. After finishing the last Capacity Building workshop dedicated to Greece, on February 25th a meeting will be held to share the results achieved in Italy, and where all citizens can participate.

Last November, ALDA in cooperation with the European Environmental Bureau welcomed the circus show MadgaClan in Brussels for the final dates of the Pan-European Street Action Tour. The tour was scheduled during the EU debate finals to allow students to participate in the activity.

Two more Capacity Building Workshops (CBW) to go before the Final Conference of BRIGHT project!
As the one taking place in mid November in Calabria, a southern region of Italy, Spain and Greece will host the fourth and fifth CBWs respectively. 

The call for the 2022 edition of /e.mò.ti.con/ illustrate emotion entitled Earth Guardians and dedicated to human being’s role as guardian of the planet is online!

The BRIGHT project had its third capacity building workshop in the beautiful Azienda Agricola Favella farm, Corigliano-Rossano, Italy, on November 16 and 17, 2021.

Within the framework of the Climate of Change project, Brussels hosted the final contest of the Pan-European Debate, where 117 students from 13 EU countries will try to win using their best dialectic skills on climate change, migration, youth and economy.

The Nature of City Festival (TNOC) is an annual experiment in multidisciplinary collaboration designed to go beyond borders to radically imagine our cities of the future.

As for other ALDA projects, PART-Y partners led an online session on October 14th during the 2021 EUWRC.

On October 1st “The research on the Lesser Kestrel in the Po Valley: the results of the campaigns LIFE FALKON 2018-2021” was held in Milan at the Expo Hall of the Research Area of the “Consiglio Nazionale della Ricerca” (CNR).

The CAP-PERI project had its start on the 29th and 30th of September with the Kick Off Meeting that saw partners coming to Vicenza to discuss the implementation of the project and the organization of the educational activities.

Metro Adapt was part of the initiatives related to Pre-Cop26 in Milan, the preparatory event for the 26th UN Climate Summit in Glasgow and All4 Climate, which brings together all the events dedicated to the fight against climate change.
