The Nicolò Rezzara Institute began its informal activity in 1961, gathering the requests for cultural education and attention to the social sciences that then did not find precise answers in the academic field. Since 13 January 1964, it has been an association under the first name “Centro studi” and since 12 March 1981, the President of the Republic has granted legal personality as a free association for cultural purposes (D.P.R. n. 239) under the name “Cultural Institute of Social Sciences”
