The project was designed to build the capacities and development of the non-government non-profit organisations and initiatives which are engaged in the conservation, re-thinking, and promotion of the cultural and historical heritage. The project was implemented in Armenia, Belarus, Lithuania, Moldova, and Ukraine. This project was conceived to enhance their participation to take more and more part in the policy dialogue, on issues of heritage in their local communities, countries, as well as in the East European region.
Besides the civil society organisations, professional teams and communities, intellectuals, and cultural activists were involved in the project. These participants had a focus on the cultural landscape and its diversity, rehabilitation, and preservation connected with the development of cities, towns, and/or other human settlements.
- Increased capacity of CSOs in Belarus, Armenia, Moldova, and Ukraine to participate in the policy dialogue at the local, national, and international levels
- Increased capacity to contribute to the shaping of national policies on cultural heritage
