The International Committee for the Development of Peoples (CISP) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 1983 with headquarters in Rome, Italy. The principles and aims of the organization are summarized in the Declaration of Intent and the Code of Conduct for cooperation programmes. The Declaration of Intent “RIGHTS, CHANGE, SUSTAINABILITY”, elaborated with the contribution of all the operators of the Rome Headquarters and the offices in third countries, defines the priorities of the action of the CISP, built around the main objectives of the fight against poverty and social exclusion under the 2030 Agenda.
