On Tuesday 27 September 2022, the Portuguese Municipality warmly welcomed the EPIC project partners, not only for the above-mentioned meeting, but also for field visits.

ALDA participated in the “Festival Les Solidarités” in Namur and in “Le Village des Associations” in Strasbourg to raise awareness on Climate Change

The Water’s Experts project has started, with the kick-off meeting which took place in Oporto (Portugal) on 3 and 4 September 2022. The partner Geoclube – Associação Juvenil welcomed ALDA and the other project partners to their office in Rio Tinto, municipality of Gondomar.

Within the framework of the CAP-PERI project, a comic with the title “magic guide to foster a sustainable future” was created. The latter is inspired by the project activities and follows Flora and Olmo’s adventure towards a more sustainable future. 

Before the CAP-PERI project came to its end, five videos for each of the cities involved in the project were developed. The videos accurately describe the main activities of CAP-PERI in an interesting and engaging way.

One of the achievements of the CAP-PERI project consisted in the creation of five different, innovative and creative outputs. 

On August 19 and 20, 2022 in Brussels at Bois de la Cambre, ALDA took part in the Festival Théâtres Nomades and it was a big success! 

ALDA has been invited to take part in the Festival Théâtres Nomades and we could not be more excited! The event will take place from August 18 to 21, 2022 in Brussels at Bois de la Cambre and it is dedicated to street arts and theatre.

The Food Wave – Empowering Urban Youth for Climate Action is a project co-funded by the European Commission under the Development Education and Awareness Raising Programme and promoted by the Municipality of Milan together with 29 partners across 17 countries. 16 Projects were selected for the Food Wave Call for proposals directed to Municipalities and Cities!

REAL DEAL is a recently-launched research project, funded by the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme, that aims at reshaping the active participation of citizens and stakeholders around the European Green Deal (EGD).

The Booklet “Towards an European standard forestry curricula – Forestry Operators Reflecting on Equalising Skills and Training” aims to provide a summary of the information and comparative analyses carried out within the FOREST project, as well as to suggest some specific reflections on the importance of moving towards a harmonisation of forestry education.

On 28 and 29 June 2022, 16 partners from 8 different countries met (both in person and virtually) for the official launch of the new Horizon Europe NEVERMORE project.

46 months of activities, 6 partners, 7 concrete interventions to implement Natural Water-Retention Measures, 1 mission: implementing a strategy for adaptation to climate change and flood risk in urban and rural areas, through the active involvement of local communities. This is the project Life Beware, whose results were presented in the final event on June 4th in Santorso.

Within the GEM IN project, a stakeholder advisory committee was established in France by ALDA in 2022 to provide advice during the piloting and further adaptation of the GEM IN educational programme in formal and non-formal educational environments.
