Citizens’ Convention on Europe: ALDA together with European Movement (Alsace), Europe Direct and Youth Europeans Strasbourg

In May 2021, the institutions of the European Union unfolded the Conference on the Future of Europe. The Conference on the Future of Europe is an extensive process of citizen participation across the European Union. This initiative allows European citizens to give their opinion on the future of the European Union.

ALDA together with the European Movement – Alsace, the Young Europeans – Strasbourg, and the Centre Europe Direct Strasbourg are convening a Citizens’ Convention on Europe composed of 100 citizens of the Strasbourg Eurometropolis. Participants will be selected by lot. This initiative will enable citizens of the Strasbourg Eurometropolis to contribute to the democratic debate.

The Citizens’ Convention on Europe will take place on February 25th from 6 to 9 pm. CET, and February 26th from 10 am to 5 pm. CET. Also on March 18th from 6 to 9 pm. CET and March 19th from 10 am to 5 pm. CET.

Everyone who wants to participate in the Convention can complete this form. After completion of the form, you will be contacted by our partner in charge of selecting a representative panel of citizens of the Strasbourg Eurometropolis.

The Convention is also open to people with disabilities and people with limited linguistic fluency. Costs of participation will be reimbursed.
