On September 10, 1987, ten citizens gathered in front of a notary to sign the constitution of the then called “Margherita Soc. Coop. Arl.” Based in Piazza Marconi in Sandrigo. The society, which was born to facilitate the access to work of disadvantaged people, has subsequently developed as a cooperative type A, dedicating itself “to the management of social health, training and lifelong education services.” On November 21, 2016, the convocation of an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting marks another important stage: Cooperativa Margherita changes its name and its articles of association, becoming Margherita Società Cooperativa Sociale Onlus while maintaining its purpose, object and duration.
