Provote International Event: Strengthening Local Democratic Resilience

On 28 April 2026, the international event “Strengthening Local Democratic Resilience” will take place in Skope, North Macedonia, in the framework of the ProVote project, which focuses on strengthening civic engagement and democratic participation in European elections.

The initiative aims to promote the participation of young people, women and marginalised groups, particularly in rural and remote areas where access to democratic processes and public debate can be more limited.

The event will provide a space for exchange among civil society organisations and stakeholders working on citizens’ engagement, democratic participation and inclusive electoral processes, highlighting practical approaches to strengthen participation at the local and European levels.
