Suliat joined ALDA in March 2026 as a Project Design Assistant. She holds a BSc in Forestry from University of Tlemcen and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Climate Change and Diversity: Sustainable Territorial Development (CCD-STeDe).
Originally from Nigeria, she has over three years of experience as a Research Assistant with Farm Revive Foundation, contributing to resilience research through field data collection. Her work is driven by a strong commitment to climate justice, shaped by firsthand experience of flooding challenges in her home country.
Suliat has been recognised as a finalist in the EGIS Competition, ranking among the top 5% of over 270 teams worldwide. She brings solid technical expertise in spatial analysis, climate modelling, and programming.
She enjoys travelling and reading, and is fluent in English, with intermediate knowledge of French and Chinese, and basic Italian.
