TGS Eurogroup APS
TGS Eurogroup APS is a social promotion association based in Northeast Italy, led by lay members and supported by the Salesian Province of San Marco. Rooted in the principles of Salesian pedagogy, the organisation has progressively expanded its activities since the early 2000s, with a growing focus on European citizenship education and youth engagement.
The association is committed to providing young people with meaningful opportunities to experience Europe firsthand. Its programmes include youth exchanges, educational initiatives for schools, and activities aimed at promoting awareness of European institutions, shared cultural heritage, and the values underpinning European integration.
Through its work, TGS Eurogroup APS encourages active participation among young people by facilitating access to volunteering opportunities, internships, apprenticeships, and cultural exchange programmes at the European level. Its approach combines educational support with experiential learning, fostering both personal development and civic responsibility.
By promoting youth empowerment, intercultural dialogue, and active citizenship, TGS Eurogroup APS contributes to strengthening democratic participation and social cohesion, in line with ALDA’s mission to advance local democracy and citizen engagement.
