From 10 to 12 June 2026, participants of the Bridges that Connect conference in Mostar came together to reaffirm a shared message: cultural heritage can be a powerful bridge between communities, generations and countries. The statement calls for greater investment in local initiatives, youth engagement and regional cooperation, recognising heritage, dialogue and shared memory as essential tools for reconciliation, democratic resilience and the Western Balkans’ path towards European integration.
