ALDA at EU Green Week 2026: FIC-Fighters and Citizen Engagement for Circular Transitions

On 25 June 2026, ALDA will take part in the EU Green Week 2026 Partner Event “Rethinking Value Chains for a European Nature-Positive Economy”, organised by ACR+ and the CSSBoost project in Brussels and online.

During the session dedicated to innovative approaches supporting circular systemic solutions, Manal Snidi, Communication Officer at ALDA, will present the FIC-Fighters Project, highlighting how citizen engagement can contribute to advancing circular economy objectives and fostering sustainable behavioural change at local level.

The presentation will showcase experiences and lessons learned from the project, focusing on the role of participatory approaches in promoting environmental awareness, community involvement, and more sustainable practices. Through dialogue and collaboration, citizens can become key actors in accelerating the transition towards a more circular and resilient society.

The event will bring together representatives of European projects, regional authorities, researchers and practitioners working on circular economy solutions, creating opportunities for knowledge exchange and cooperation across sectors.
