The Center for Women and the Modern World (CWMW) is a non-governmental, non-profit and independent women’s NGO. It was established in 1999 and registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan on July 2, 1999 (№ 1150). It has had a special advisory status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 2008.
