IPEMED is a non-profit and independent civil society organisation, whose purpose is to contribute to the sustainable development of the Republic of Croatia primarily by using its Adriatic economic and social resources and potential, while monitoring the totality of their effects on the community and the individual and developing participatory democracy.
The goals of IPEMED are to promote, encourage, advocate and support the development of entrepreneurship, research and innovation, prevention and improvement of health, environmental protection, preservation of natural and cultural heritage, energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources, social inclusion and good governance.
IPEMED’s areas of activity are economy, research, innovation and sustainable development, health, environmental protection and climate change, social inclusion and good governance.
