One Bridge To is a non-profit organisation based in Verona, Italy, working along the European borders of the Balkan Route to provide humanitarian assistance and support to migrants, refugees, and people on the move.
Founded in 2016, the organisation operates through two main pillars. On the one hand, it delivers direct humanitarian aid and implements field-based projects along key transit routes, addressing immediate needs and supporting vulnerable communities. On the other hand, it is strongly committed to awareness-raising and advocacy, collecting and sharing testimonies from the field through public events, training activities, and educational initiatives, particularly in schools.
Over the years, One Bridge To has developed a solid presence both locally and internationally, currently running projects in Italy, Greece, Iraqi Kurdistan, and Bulgaria. Its work is deeply rooted in community engagement, fostering dialogue and promoting a better understanding of migration dynamics at the local level.
