Description
The Province of Caserta is a public authority located in the Campania Region of Italy, encompassing 104 municipalities and serving a population of approximately 900,000 inhabitants. Its territory is characterised by a rich diversity of landscapes, including mountainous areas, fertile plains, and a coastal strip, reflecting both environmental and socio-economic complexity.
The Province plays a key role in coordinating and supporting local development through a wide range of institutional competences. Its core areas of intervention include environmental protection and land management, school infrastructure, transportation and mobility systems, territorial planning, employment and vocational training services, as well as technical and administrative support to municipalities.
