Melusine Dauphin joined ALDA’s Brussels office in June 2025 as Assistant to the Secretariat. She is currently completing a dual bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Sciences Po Paris and the University of British Columbia, with a regional focus on North America.

Having lived in the Philippines, Mexico, and Serbia, Melusine has developed a deep appreciation for languages. A native French speaker, she is fluent in English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese, and has a basic knowledge of Italian and literary Arabic.

Her time in Serbia sparked a strong interest in European integration and democratic participation, topics that continue to inspire her involvement. On campus, she actively supports the Jeunes Européens association, contributing to efforts that foster dialogue and engagement among young Europeans.

Before joining ALDA, Melusine volunteered with Doctors of the World in Mexico, where she gained hands-on experience in project planning and financing. This opportunity also allowed her to explore her commitment to gender equality through the Feminist Opportunities Now project, deepening her understanding of intersectional issues in international development.
