Terms of Reference 


ALDA is looking for a Project Manager technical supervisor and project quality control

The incumbent will work under the supervision of the Head of the Implementation Unit; the candidate provides technical guidance to the team for the correct project implementation and monitoring and the improvement of the existing technical processes. 

  • Supervision and quality control of ALDA projects to provide technical support to PMs in executing and monitoring projects, including the ISO 9001 for PM dimensions:
    • Respond to medium level management crisis, managing deviations or emerging criticalities
    • Monitor project activities, outputs, and results to ensure alignment with agreed objectives and performance indicators.
    • Check and review technical documentation, progress and final project reports, and deliverables in support to the PMs
    • Ensure compliance with EU regulations, contractual obligations and reporting standards
  • Support the optimization of existing internal PM tools in order to make them always more efficient for the team;
  • Periodic check of the internal software FM (file maker) on the project section
  • Propose to head of unit  synergies among projects as for timetable of events/actions, themes and funding. Ensure compliance with donorsEU regulations, contractual obligations and reporting standards

Candidate qualifications 

Applicants should meet the following requirements: 

  • University degree 
  • Languages: English professional working proficiency. French and Italian language is an asset; 
  • Leadership and team coordination skills
  • Previous experience in project implementation of at least 3 years;
  • Proved experience on PCM and reporting;
  • Knowledge of computer tools; 
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; 
  • Proper work autonomy and proactive skills;

Terms of Contract

The contract will be for a period of 12 months and can be renewed subject to satisfactory performance evaluation at the completion of the first contracted period. 

The contract will preferably start in September. 

Salary will be based on the experience and qualifications of the candidate. The proposed salary will follow ALDA’s staff regulation:
