Victoria Kurochka joined ALDA Task Force in Ukraine as Communication Officer in November 2025. She is a journalist, documentary filmmaker, and communications manager based in Kyiv, Ukraine. She holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and has worked in Ukrainian media for over ten years, including television.
Since the beginning of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, she has been involved in documentary projects. Her works include “What’s Next?”, “Homo Amans,” and “Content of Sensitive Nature,” where she contributed as a journalist and scriptwriter.
As a communications manager, Victoria specializes in the fields of culture and civil society. She has experience collaborating with non-governmental organizations such as the Poltava Press Club and the Centre for Policy Making.
Victoria’s professional interests focus on human rights, freedom of expression, the development of civil society at the local level, and the humanitarian and social sectors.
