The Prizma Foundation is a Hungarian civil society group focused on enhancing democracy through civic engagement, innovative education, and public discourse. Founded by a coalition of young leaders, policy experts, and storytellers, Prizma empowers individuals, especially youth and marginalised groups, to participate meaningfully in democracy. In a context that often discourages public participation, they create alternative pathways using AI-driven tools, gamified education, participatory storytelling, and innovative deliberation to transform the narrative from apathy to empowerment.One of their recent projects involve the launch of a digital platform this autumn, called Alternative Referendum, aimed at restoring democratic agency with citizen-centered tools.
