Objective: The global objective of this call for proposals is to strengthen the role and capacity of civil society and media actors to protect and promote freedom of expression and media in Albania. The specific objective of this call for proposals is to support relevant actors to ensure that EU standards on freedom of expression – online and offline – and media freedom are upheld. The priorities include to strengthen ethical, independent, and high-quality journalism, safety of journalists and labour rights and to guarantee citizens’ right to information.
