Environment & Climate Hub Event

Environment & Climate Hub Event – 2nd Annual Gathering in Brussels

The Environment & Climate Hub Brussels Event 2025 returns for its second annual edition, this time with an in-person gathering in Brussels, hosted at Mundo Madou on 23–24 October 2025.

Following last year’s online edition, the Environment & Climate Hub Event will feature two main sessions:

  • A public workshop on the morning of 23 October titled “Beyond Awareness: How Civil Society Shapes the Green and Smart City”,

  • A members-only strategy session in the afternoon, open to ALDA members and partners.

The public event will be an interactive session combining project presentations, case examples, and co-creation exercises. As the EU moves forward with the Green Deal and digital transition, the workshop explores the critical role of civil society in urban innovation — not just as advocates, but as co-creators of green and smart cities.

The session will:

  • Highlight participatory models that support inclusive sustainability

  • Showcase EU-funded projects such as BUILDSPACE and GreenScape

  • Offer a space to connect stakeholders, spark replication, and drive innovation

After a networking lunch, ALDA members will take part in a closed-door session aimed at translating insights from the previous online gathering into strategic directions for the Hub. This session will be a key moment to co-develop priorities, explore synergies, and align the Hub’s activities with members’ needs and expertise.

📣 Why attend?

If you’re in Brussels, this is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the Hub, share your experience, and build new partnerships for environmental action.
