European Heritage Hub Forum – Heritage Matters for Europe’s Cities and Citizens

On 14 October 2025, the European Heritage Hub Forum “Heritage Matters for Europe’s Cities and Citizens” takes place at the Brussels Town Hall, as part of the European Cultural Heritage Summit 2025. The event explores how cultural heritage policy can act as a catalyst for preserving European values, strengthening democracy, and promoting civic participation.

Organised by Europa Nostra in cooperation with the European Heritage Hub consortium, the European Heritage Hub Forum gathers local authorities, civil society organisations, and EU representatives to debate the future of heritage governance in Europe. During the panel “The Role of Local Authorities – Democracy, Sustainable Tourism and Solidarity” (14:30–15:30), Nataša Vučković, President of ALDA, will join as a speaker, discussing the intersection of democracy, heritage, and sustainable local development.
