Minorities’ Participation in Multilevel Governance: International Conference and Workshop

On 10–11 March 2026, ALDA will host the international conference and workshop “Minorities’ Participation in Multilevel Governance” in Brussels, Belgium, at Amazone SRL, within the framework of the PACT – Participatory Action for Community Transformation project.

The event will bring together representatives of local authorities, civil society organisations, European stakeholders and practitioners to explore practical approaches to enhancing the participation of underrepresented minorities in governance processes at local and European levels.

Particular attention will be given to migrant and refugee communities, Roma communities, and other marginalised groups, reflecting on how inclusive and participatory mechanisms can strengthen democratic resilience, social cohesion and intercultural dialogue.

The conference is organised within the framework of the PACT project, funded by the European Commission’s CERV Programme, which supports democratic participation, equality and fundamental rights across Europe.
