STAR 2.0 Youth Training

STAR 2.0 In-Person Training with Youth Workers – Reggio Emilia 2025

From 10 to 13 November 2025, the STAR 2.0 Youth Training will take place in Reggio Emilia, Italy, gathering five youth workers from partner countries for a hands-on training session on using street art as a tool for social inclusion. The STAR 2.0 Youth Training builds on the project’s online modules and curriculum, combining practical learning with creative experimentation to empower participants to work with disadvantaged young people through art.

Organised within the framework of the STAR 2.0 project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, this in-person training provides a collaborative environment for youth workers to develop skills and methodologies inspired by the intersection of art, participation, and community engagement.

Over three days, participants from Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands, Greece, and France will explore how street art can foster inclusion, self-expression, and intercultural dialogue among young people facing social or economic barriers. The training includes workshops, group sessions, and peer exchanges focused on using creative methods to promote empowerment and cooperation.

By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the tools to replicate STAR 2.0 methodologies in their local communities, ensuring that the project’s impact extends beyond its partner network. The sessions will also contribute to testing and refining the project’s curriculum, designed to make art a driver for civic engagement and active citizenship among youth.

The training is organised by ALDA in collaboration with Clube Intercultural Europeu and Stichting Street Art Museum Amsterdam.
