Youth Impact Forum: Empowered Youth, Vibrant Democracies

On 18 September 2025, ALDA – the European Association for Local Democracy will organise its Youth Impact Forum in Brussels, hosted at the Maison des Associations Internationales (Rue de Washington 40, Ixelles).

Under the theme “Empowered Youth, Vibrant Democracies”, this one-day event will bring together young people, civil society organisations, public authorities, and institutional stakeholders to share experiences, methodologies, and practices that foster meaningful youth participation in democratic life.

Organised in the framework of the European Year of Youth CSOs Network, the Forum aims to:

• Promote youth-led initiatives that drive democratic renewal;

• Enhance cooperation between young citizens and policymakers;

• Strengthen inclusive approaches and civic engagement at all levels.

The programme will feature interactive sessions, creative exchanges, and thematic discussions focused on building bridges between generations, sectors, and regions to shape youth-driven policy recommendations and support active citizenship.
