The Mediterranean Citizens’ Assembly Foundation (MCAF) was constituted in 2015 and operates on dialogue, cooperation, alliances in the Mediterranean area. It is composed of 32 experts, coming from 15 Mediterranean countries. From a general perspective it promotes the democratic values of freedom, peace and respect for diversity, as well as environmental responsibility in the Mediterranean. It organises cultural meetings, seminars, forums, active participation in international summits; while raising awareness and disseminate pieces of information on the Mediterranean area.
