Prijedor Project Association

The presence of Trentino in Prijedor began in the aftermath of the signing of the Dayton peace agreements in February 1996, when some volunteers from the House of Peace in Trento decided to go to one of the places identified as cities of ethnic cleansing. Initially focused on humanitarian action, the action of the JPA has developed more and more on mutual exchange in a perspective, not of mere welfare or paternalism, but dialogue and confrontation between societies (the Bosnian and the Italian) constantly changing and increasingly related to each other.
