ALDA Governing Board Welcomes New Members!

Voices of a Generation: Young Women for Change
September 24, 2025On 10 September 2025, the Politik-Her project culminated in the Voices of a Generation conference in Brussels. The event brought together young women leaders and civil society to launch the Politik-Her Toolkit, a resource to advance inclusive leadership and gender equality across Europe. Highlights included inspiring speeches, powerful presentations, and the unveiling of concrete methodologies to replicate the project’s practices.
Restoring Trust in Europe: Insights from European Dialogues in Bosnia and Herzegovina
September 23, 2025From September 17 to 20, 2025, the European Dialogues in Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered key voices from civil society and youth activism to explore the role of trust in fostering lasting peace and social cohesion. One of the standout contributors was Maddalena Alberti, ALDA Governing Board member, who shared her insights on how trust can be restored in post-conflict societies. Emphasizing the power of community-driven initiatives and participatory governance, Maddalena highlighted the importance of local democracy in rebuilding citizens’ trust in institutions. Her reflections underscore the need for transparency, accountability, and youth engagement to create societies where trust is nurtured through everyday democratic experiences. The future of Europe, she argued, depends on citizens feeling truly involved in shaping their communities and their futures.
