At a glance
This project was designed to research on the best practices of NGOs and EU Municipalities to support the development of NGOs and municipalities Turkish actors. Under this project, a theoretical training in gender and VAW related issues was developed, presenting also best practices, educational methodologies and experiences.
At the end of the project a guide, translated in Turkish and English, was realized containing EU and national guidelines, the results of the research conducted, the best practices from the EU partners, and an Action Plan.
Objectives
The overall objective of the project was to contribute to the Turkish government’s efforts for the protection of women’s human rights and affirmation of gender policies.
