On 7 June 2023, as part of the ALDA Festival and General Assembly 2023, two events took place in Etterbeek (Belgium) within the framework of the TALE and the P-CUBE project, organised by the ALDA Thematic Hub “Youth empowerment and education” : “2024 European elections –  the TALE World Café” and “Education becomes digital” – P-CUBE international Final Conference. 

The digital transformation has changed our society and our economy with increasingly tangible implications in our everyday lives, highlighting the need to ameliorate the digital capacity of our education system, our institutions and our work environment. 

ALDA  Secretary General, Antonella Valmorbida, was in Brussels with colleagues to meet the Municipality of Etterbeek, in order to relaunch the strategic partnership that was established in 2017 and aiming at strengthening the links between the association and the municipality, notably in the field of citizens participation.

On June 15th, 2022, Antonella Valmorbida, Secretary General of ALDA took part to “Local Democracy; Digital Accessibility & Assistive Technologies; Future of Digital Identity” a webinar in preparation of the upcoming Global Forum Event 2022, which will take place on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th October 2022 in Muscat, Oman.

The Association, as well as its network and friends, is engaged in concrete and tangible actions. Willing to promote positive change and democracy, through dialogue and interaction, ALDA has launched this new multimedia project: Shades of Democracy, the ALDA podcast!
